For irons I really like the Mizuno Shaft Optimizer to help find a shaft for you. My biggest tip would be to make sure you like what you get and it feels good. When I get fit, I measure length, lie, shaft flex, shaft weight, etc.

The things I hope for in a fitting are: not brand specific, a deep dive into every detail from grip to toe of the club, full club and ball data, and using similar urethane golf balls.
